By enrolling on a module with ONCORE and logging on to the site, you agree to the following privacy conditions:

1.1 In order to be enrolled onto a module, you agree to share the following information with ONCORE:

1.1.2 Date of birth

1.1.3 Address

1.1.4 Workplace detail

1.1.5 Home or work address

1.1.6 Qualifications

1.1.7 E-mail address

1.1.8 Contact telephone number


1.2 You are responsible for the security of your account login details. You can improve security by:

1.2.1 Changing your password on first accessing the Site

1.2.2  Not sharing your login details with any other party

1.2.3 Restricting browser settings so that passwords are not automatically entered

1.2.4 Restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to the Site and/or your login details

1.2.5 Logging out of the Site every time you complete a session


1.3 By enrolling onto a module and logging on to the Site, you agree to share your name, personally selected profile details, discussion forum posts and other contributions to the course, with other members of the course, tutors, moderators, and any other parties deemed appropriate or necessary by ONCORE.

1.4 Your profile icon/avatar and name may be visible to persons not logged on to the Site or enrolled onto modules.

1.5 You are responsible for creating your profile and altering your privacy settings to the level which you require, and we do not accept any responsibility for any personal profile information, or other information, being shared with or beyond the enrolled members of your course, or accept liability for any consequences of this.


2. Confidentiality:

2.1 When enrolled on a module with ONCORE, you agree to full confidentiality with respect to matters discussed and disclosed by any candidate or the tutor/s when studying a module.

2.2 You should not discuss confidential or contentious issues with any other party, in a manner which discloses any other person's or candidate's identity.

2.3 This agreement does not supersede any similar guidelines contained in the RCVS Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Nurses which also pertain to such issues.


3. Data Protection


3.1 The Data Protection Act 1998 requires us to be open about our holding and use of personal data. It also entitles individuals to find out from us what personal data is held about them on computer, to have that information corrected or erased if it is inaccurate, and to claim compensation if they can prove they have suffered damage from an inaccuracy or breach of security.


3.2 ONCORE is committed to upholding the eight Data Protection Principles of good information handling practice.

3.3Your use of this site and any dispute arising out of such use of the site, or dispute with respect to information or learning provided by ONCORE,  shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.

3.4 Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England



7. Changes in Terms

ONCORE reserves the right to modify this privacy statement at any time without prior notice. Any modification of this statement will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the Site.
